Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Sagarmatha Soft, Suryabinayak, Bhaktapur, Nepal (“we”, “us”), for the use of Laravel, our online store builder. By creating a store you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

1. What belongs to us

Laravel and everything that makes it work belong to Sagarmatha Soft, including:

• the software, dashboard, code and infrastructure;
• all templates, their designs, layouts and interactions;
• the Laravel and Sagarmatha Soft names, logos and brand;
• sample (demo) products and text we provide to help you get started. Sample photos are licensed from their photographers and are for demonstration — replace them with your own before you sell.

While you have an active store, we give you a personal, non-transferable right to use Laravel and its templates for your store. You may customise templates inside Laravel, but you may not copy, resell, redistribute or rebuild them outside the platform, or try to reverse-engineer the software.

2. What belongs to you

You own your store’s content and data, including:

• your store name, logo and brand;
• your products, photos, descriptions, pages and blog posts;
• your orders, sales records and customer information.

You give us permission to store, display, back up and process this content only to run your store and provide Laravel to you. We do not claim ownership of it, sell it or use your customers’ information for our own marketing.

3. Your data when you leave

• You can export your products and orders from your dashboard at any time.
• If your subscription ends, your storefront closes but your data is kept, so you can come back or export it. We will contact you before deleting a store that has been inactive for a long time.
• When a store is deleted, its database — products, orders and customer details — is permanently removed.

4. Your account

• You must give accurate information and be at least 16 years old.
• Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account, including actions by staff you invite.
• Tell us straight away if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.

5. Your responsibilities as a seller

• Sell only lawful products and follow the laws of Nepal, including consumer protection, tax and VAT rules.
• Have the rights to the photos, text and brands you upload.
• Deliver what you sell, handle returns fairly and honour your own store policies.
• Only sell medicines, alcohol or other regulated goods if you hold the required licences.
• Do not use Laravel for fraud, spam, counterfeit goods or anything harmful.

You are the seller to your customers. Sagarmatha Soft is not a party to sales between you and your customers.

6. Payments and billing

New stores get a free trial. After the trial, your store stays open while your subscription is active; the price is agreed with you directly. Payments your customers make through eSewa, Khalti or other providers go to you under your own agreement with that provider.

7. Suspension and closing

You can stop using Laravel at any time. We may suspend or close a store that breaks these terms, puts others at risk or has an unpaid subscription. Where possible, we will contact you first and give you a chance to fix the problem or export your data.

8. Availability

We work hard to keep Laravel fast, secure and online. The service is provided “as is”; we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, Sagarmatha Soft is not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as Laravel grows. We will tell you about important changes by email or in your dashboard before they take effect.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Nepal.
